ROOF REPLACEMENT
STORM DAMAGE AND INSURANCE CLAIMS
If your home suffers storm damage from high winds, hail, or flying debris it's important to get your roof inspected in a timely manner. Not only does your insurance policy have a limited time that you can file a claim within but every day that passes can worsen the damage to your home.
Hail damage is more than just surface damage to your shingles. Often times the hail impacts and cracks or breaks the shingles. When this happens your underlayment is exposed to the elements. If the roofer who installed your roof used a cheap felt paper, water will quickly penetrate it and make its way into your home potentially causing water damage.
Powerful winds that accompany our storms can lift shingles and allow water underneath. If your shingles were incorrectly affixed to your home they could even blow out of place or completely off your roof. Wind also breaks branches from trees and causes damage to your entire roofing structure. No matter the extent of your damage, we can help with all your roof repair needs. The team of professionals at Expert Exteriors will provide you with the necessary paperwork for your insurance company to help ensure your claim process is as smooth as possible.
ROOF REPAIR DUE TO AN AGING ROOF
If your roof is in need of repair because of age, we can help with that too. Over the life of your roof you will likely find that you have loose, curled, bent, or broken shingles, light coming through your attic, or water stains and other evidence of a roof leak. When you have any one of these signs, it's best to call a roof repair company immediately. Delaying repair only makes the issue worse and leads to greater damage to your home.
If you need a roof repair, call Expert Exteriors at 414-519-1260 for a free no obligation inspection. We'll thoroughly explain the extent of the damage, how we're going to repair it, and give you a quote. We're local and have over a decade of experience serving Washington, Waukesha, Dodge, Fond Du Lac, Sheboygan, and Ozaukee Counties.
IKO ROOFING
For Your Customers Who Want the Best, IKO Offers Two Best-in-Class Shingles.
Nordic: Quite possibly the best laminate asphalt shingle money can buy. Offer your customers the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are providing the best for their families. As weather patterns become more unpredictable, Nordic presents your best asphalt shingle option — no matter where your customers live. Not only has this shingle earned a Class 4 impact resistance rating,3 but it also offers unparalleled wind uplift protection derived from IKO’s exclusive ArmourZone technology.
We coat Nordic’s durable fiberglass mat with a polymer-modified asphalt for a heavyweight, exceptional strength and resilience, high-wind resistance and added flexibility for application in cold temperatures.* This powerful combo of a durable mat and special asphalt allows IKO Nordic shingles to act as shock absorbers, to help cushion the impact of hail and earn a Class 4 impact resistance rating.**3
IKO’s ArmourZone is the 1 1/4-inch reinforced nailing area that provides incredible fastening power and helps resist nail pull-through even in high winds of up to 130 mph (210 km/h)¹ with only four nails.
Dynasty: Wind resistance and fast installation nailed. Dynasty is an oversized, heavy-duty laminate asphalt shingle that utilizes standard oxidized asphalt instead of a polymer-modified coating and carries a Class 3 impact resistance rating.**3 Like Nordic, Dynasty also features the ArmourZone, which offers unparalleled nail-holding power, helping the shingle resist high winds. And IKO’s FastLock® sealant on every shingle further strengthens Dynasty’s defiance of Mother Nature’s wrath.
The secondary benefit of ArmourZone’s larger nailing area is that it allows for easier and more accurate nailing. Combined with Dynasty’s (and Nordic’s) 5 7/8-inch exposure and larger-than-average overall size, it goes down faster and covers more area than most average-sized comparable laminate shingles.
Both Nordic and Dynasty are available in IKO’s exclusive hi-definition color blends that will make your customer’s home the envy of the neighborhood.
*Manual sealing is required in cold temperatures. See application instructions for full details. **This is not a guarantee of impact resistance against hail. Damage from hail is not covered under the limited warranty. Full details on the reverse
IMPORTANT! To ensure complete satisfaction, please view several full-size shingles and an actual roof installation before final color selection as the shingle swatches and photography showed online, in our brochures and our ROOFViewer® tool may not accurately reflect shingle color and do not fully represent the entire color blend range nor the impact of sunlight.
Note: Product and color availability may vary by region. Products with Miami Dade NOA and FBC product approval listings are available. Meets requirements of the Texas Department of Insurance. Please contact IKO for details ¹See Limited Warranty at IKO.com for complete terms, conditions, restrictions and application requirements. Shingles must be applied by application instructions and local building code requirements. 2“Lifetime” means the period commencing on the date of the completion of the installation of the shingles on the building, and continuing so long as the Owner or the first transferee owns the building on which the shingles were installed. 3This impact rating is solely to enable residential property owners to obtain a reduction in their residential insurance premium, if available. It is not to be construed as any type of express or implied warranty or guarantee of the impact performance of this shingle by the manufacturer, supplier or installer and damage from hail is not covered by the Limited Warranty. IKO recommends the use of its Class 4 impact resistance rated Hip and Ridge cap shingle in conjunction with the use of Class 4 impact resistance rated shingles, and the use of no less than its Class 3 impact resistance rated Hip and Ridge cap shingle in conjunction with the use of Class 3 impact resistance rated shingles. SIDING
EXPERT EXTERIORS INSTALLS EXTERIOR PORTFOLIO SIDING
There are many types and brands of siding available for your home. Expert Exteriors has teamed up with Exterior Portfolio to offer homeowners a wide selection of styles for their home's exterior makeover. The siding on your home is one of the most visible parts and one of the elements that provides the most protection. It keeps water out, it keeps heat in, and it protects your home's structure from pests.
BENEFITS OF NEW SIDING
If your home has older vinyl, you likely have very little insulation between the walls of your home and the siding itself. New products, like those from Exterior Portfolio have an increased R-value that help insulate your home lowering your heating and cooling costs. If your home's exterior is wood, you have a lot of maintenance to do. Keeping the wood sealed or painted is expensive and takes time. The siding we install never needs to be painted. Lower utility costs and less maintenance are excellent reasons to replace your siding and it comes with the added benefit of a great new look.
WHY EXTERIOR PORTFOLIO?
We carefully chose Exterior Portfolio as our product of choice for many reasons. First, they offer a wide variety, each with slightly different styling, benefits, and colors. One of our favorite offerings is their Market Square line, which emulates forest-grown cedar, comes in 23 colors, and has a 180mph wind resistance. Perhaps the most popular line we sell is their American Dream Edge, which has wood grain finish giving your home the appearance of a wood without the hassles of scraping, sanding, and painting. It comes in 14 colors and has a 135mph wind rating. All their products come with a limited lifetime warranty that we are able to honor because we are an authorized contractor.
If it's time for an exterior makeover that includes new siding, call Expert Exteriors. We'll help you choose the best product for your budget. Our design team will help you select the color combination that will make your home the envy of the neighborhood. GUTTER
GUTTERS AND TRIM ARE ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF YOUR ROOFING SYSTEM
The gutters on your home and the flashing, fascia, and soffits are just as important when it comes to protecting your home as the roof itself. That's why we use Quality Edge products for gutters, soffits, and flashing.
GUTTERS
Gutters are important because they help the water run off your roof and away from your home's foundation. Clogged gutters contribute to multiple roofing problems like ice dams and wood rot at the edge of your roof. When you don't have gutters, water runs off your roof and can seep into your foundation, crawlspace, and basement rather than away from it.
Protect your home with custom seamless gutters in your choice of over 30 colors. Expert Exteriors, LLC makes their Quality Edge aluminum gutters on-site to eliminate waste and craft an exact fit. Your home will be well protected and look great with new gutters. We also offer gutter protection from Quality Edge so you'll never need to clean your gutters again. Gutter covers are also available in multiple colors to compliment your home.
TRIM
A few other essential elements of your roofing system that contribute to protecting your home are referred to as trim. Flashing's main purpose is to provide a protective layer where the roof connects to the outer walls of the home. Damaged or deteriorating flashing allows water and pests into your home and lead to multiple problems both inside and outside your home. We work with Quality Edge Nomar because they are able to promise and deliver no scratching or marking on their trim.
The soffits provide ventilation to your attic. Although your soffits aren't the sole source of attic ventilation, they keep the edges of the roof the same temperature as the outside. When the attic is the same temperature as the outside you have less of a chance that ice dams will form. You also want your soffits to be in good working condition so that humidity can escape helping to prevent mold in your attic. Damaged soffits are a common way squirrels and bees make your home their own. We make sure to use the best products that is why we trust Quality Edge Truvent when replacing or installing soffits.
When you request a new roof from Expert Exteriors, we inspect your gutters, flashing, and soffits too. Our estimates include your complete roof system, not just the shingles and underlayment. We want your home protected just like we'd protect that of our own family. You can count of the team from Expert Exteriors to provide you with quality products, expert installation, and a complete roofing system that will last for years to come. If you need work done on your exterior that includes any of your home's trim, don't put it off, call Expert Exteriors for your free quote today - 414-519-1260.
